Our Story

Normaco designs and builds portable machining tools that go to the job when the job cannot come to the tool.

We are a privately owned company, based in Estonia, northern Europe. We make equipment for various field machining jobs, such as milling, facing, drilling, and boring. By offering solutions that machine components in place, avoiding costly disassembly and transport, we help our customers to do the work effectively, faster and on budget. Our tools are used in power generation, oil and gas, marine, mining, process industry, and fabrication worldwide.

We work relentlessly to deliver products that make a difference and help our customers to reach their goals. We know we have done our job well when we hear about a customer’s “wow” moment when they receive our product.

Most of our products are originally developed for a specific customer requirement, and after proving to be successful, standardized into products. We often do customizations and adaptations to our products to suit the requirement at hand even better.

Being small and nimble, we can quickly adapt to customer needs, without bureaucracy and layers of organization between the customer and the people who actually design and build the machine.

Our customers are scattered around the globe, and we have delivered products to 30+ countries, across every inhabited continent.

We proudly manufacture our products here locally in Estonia, striving to use local suppliers and industry as much as possible. Around 90% of the components come from the EU.

Looking back, our journey can be traced back to the late 90s when our predecessors started producing splitframe pipe cutters in Estonia. Over the years, other on-site machining equipment was added to the portfolio and production grew. In 2022 there was a major change and Normaco brand and product range were acquired by management. After a few twists and turns Normaco is steadily growing, creating more products, helping people to solve their challenges on-site.
